Cyanotype it's an alternative photography process in which two chemicals are used Potassium ferric cyanide and Ferric ammonium citrate, which gives blue color when mixed together. First, the chemicals are mixed in water and coated on paper then exposed in UV light. So where ever shadow drops that part turns white.
I have been working on this series called Nature, in which i have used different botanical plants, objects, negatives and X-rays to make an image. And the best part of this process is one cannot make multiples copies of it so every image is unique and different.
I really enjoyed working with this method because its an old, manual process. Working with this technique, unlike today where everything is digitized helped me to understand a different realm of photography.
