Curves of Straight Lines

Szczecin. Poland. Capital and largest city of the West Pomeranian Voivodship.
It is located near the Polish-German border. In Szczecin lives about 405tys. residents. My family town. Here I grew up, here I live and here I photograph.
Berlin. Germany. Capital and largest city of Germany. It is the second (after London) city in the European Union in terms of population. Berlin is home to some 3.4 million people. The city I regularly visit, admire and photograph.
Both cities are only 150km away. 1.5 hours by car. 2 hours by train.
In order to show the most characteristic places of Szczecin and Berlin, I created a long-term photographic project, which I called Curves of Straight Lines.
An indispensable element in my photos is man. Without people there is no city. The city is us.
By using my photography, I want the viewer to move into an unknown, unusual, mysterious and fascinating world. We can see that we are all familiar to see again - in an entirely different way.
