A society extinguished by the interaction of subjectivities. The alterity molding itself for its own survival.
Preconceived ideas of how we are, how we were, how we will be. Migratory movements, miscegenation, bodies that are in a place about to disappear, an ambiguous place, strange, in constant duality between silence and words.
Simon Blackburn tells us that the phenomena of human life are intelligible only through their interrelationships, which constitute a structure but behind it there are constant laws of abstract culture.

About author:
My name is Martin T Raggio. I’m an American/Argentine/Swiss audiovisual artist. My main focus is on projects that mold and alter reality, contorting the substance of truth into shapes, that force audience to contemplate the crux of it’s essence. Through the vehicle of media my ultimate goal is to challenge and engage the viewer, creating a fictional space reflecting fragmented reality.
My life has been split between the United States and Argentina. As I, a first generation American, relocated back to my parent’s native Buenos Aires at the impressionable age of 15. For this reason, I am drawn to themes regarding migration, displacement and identity. Because of this upheaval, I am not strictly rooted in any geographical location, but feel at home wherever I stand. I find my art is a product of both my personal search for self and the influence of the places I’ve called home.
