These images may seem as photographs of various landscapes, but these are small snippets of my hometown shot from the lowest possible angle, with a wide-angle lens. Fractured roads, potholes after rainfall, cracked concrete. After removing the existing background in post, we get the sense of a horizon, and that small snippet of a town surface becomes a stunning landscape. The perception of an image becomes dislocated and the scale of these objects expand. These series give the viewer a new glimpse of a mundane object, and talk about our unique and temporary environment. To highlight these fragments, I mark both their exact location and time. These coordinates and time-stamps resemble the name of the photographs.
