The photo series Atopia portrays play ground equipment such as slides and swings, but also benches and large empty cages. The composition of the photos have a strange tension between scale gray rock walls, colorful objects and the absence of people; for the viewer it remains unclear whether they see montages or documentary photos. Here I question both photography as a tool for the representation of reality and our ways of viewing everyday objects.
