Conceptual - NOMINEE: Brandon Petulla

It Runs In Inches is about my Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and the relationship I have with objects. In animate Objects are a core subject hood in my life and have been a manifestation of myself for years. This project shows my rebellion against the disorder and my tactile and haptic use of materials as well as spreading more awareness of the disorder at hand. Although this project deals with mental health, it shows my graphic ability and how design aspects have helped my OCD.

Brandon Petulla was born and raised in Malibu, California and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. A recent 2017 graduate from Parsons School of Design, he studied photography and has a wide background in graphic design and 3d modeling.
