The scarf reflects the uncertainty of this macabre phase. The predictable has become unplannable due to the veiled view of what is to come. Covers offer protection but at the same time keep us in ignorance. The veil of uncertainty hangs like a mask over our faces.
The uncertainty about our future and daily developments will continue to have an effect for a long time to come, leaving us to concentrate on the essential.

Chiara Wettmann is a Berlin based analogue Photographer. Since 2019 she has been studying at the renowned Ostkreuzschule for photography in Berlin. Chiara is a documentary and portrait photographer who focuses with an artistic female gaze on society, everyday social life and intimacy.
