Entropic

This project was born during my quarantine from Covid-19.
They are still-life images where I combined elements that helped me to express my vision of this historical period, trying to synthesize the emotional strength.
Each image is an isolated system and the “Entropic” title seemed suitable for the project.
The word entropy - often associated with disorder - is in fact a broad concept, which basically means internal transformation.
The atmospheres are tense and it is no coincidence that in many images there is the presence of a cockroach; a primordial insect, which prefers darkness and which causes us fear and disgust.
But it is also an extraordinarily strong and adaptable insect that survived the ice ages.
So a symbol of resistance and hope, of a new evolution.

I studied at the Italian Institute of Photography in Milan and I work mainly in photography of still life, corporate and reportage.
