"1:26 - 3:24" - is an allusion to the sacred texts and it also the time this project was made . Creation of a human being is a result of the expulsion of Adam. The story unfolds the life of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Night photography reminds us of a camera trap, dismantling the usual shot and conventional space, it pushes the boundaries of artistic expression and explores the Garden of Eden transcendency, reconsidering its classical portrayal. Main characters resemble frantic nocturnal animals captured by a camera trap. It's a take on the topic of canonical depiction and narrative, which embodies the natural essence of Adam and Eve and shows them in the light of infantile and childlike characters that become humans only after the first expulsion from Heaven.
About author:
The work of Egor Fedosov (b. 2000, Russia) represents a chase of
an abstract, in some cases random, unconditional decision for
each and every specific issue. Due to the changes that take
place in the process of imagery creation with the help of
digital image processing and film photo-process, his works
are not just photography. "Photograph of a photograph" is what
first comes to mind when one sees the result. Each time unique,
the photos bear a close resemblance to the art of printmaking.
Conceptual element equally coexists with the plasticity. They
perfectly complement and constitute each other.
