Jerusalem Day

Jerusalem Day is an Israeli national holiday commemorating the reunification of Jerusalem and the establishment of Israeli control over the Old City in the aftermath of the June 1967 Six-Day War, where lots of men lost their lives.
This day is celebrated with parades and The Jerusalem Day Flag March, led by predominantly religious Zionist teenagers decked in white and blue, the colors of the Israeli flag, singing and dancing in colorful costumes as they march from the center of the new city to the Old City.
Along the controversy of this day, I focus on people that come to Jerusalem from different parts of the country to celebrate the holiday, along with locals and people working and securing the event.

I study for a BFA degree in Photography at Bezalel - Academy of Arts & Design, in Jerusalem.
I'm on my 4th (and last) year of studies
Mostly, I´m interested in Documentary Photography and social matters.
