PAPER FAME
This is a project based on my personal questioning of the real photographic val-ues in the Fashion Industry.
It was created by mixing photographic interventions and appropriations in a series of fashion images I shot this year in Moscow.
I was obsessed about the role of Fame when thinking of the real value of the imagery we see everyday in magazines, advertising or billboards. I decided to put supermodels faces over the face of my not famous model, and next to it, I put the net-worth of each one of the supermodels in a piece of crumpled paper, as a way to highlight the fact that, in the end, all that net-worth and fame is just paper.
