Experimental - NOMINEE: Flavio Aquino

Urban Interference is an experimental project with artistic narratives about the influence and occupation of urbanization on urban space and the author 's interference in this occupation. An archaeological action of the author himself, who throughout the year photographed various spaces and situations of the city of Natal. Using the author's own imagination, images are interfered with, overlapping urban architectural images, building parallel cities, merging images with varying layer values and transparency, and finally gluing to the final finish. Now these images make up a poetic and controversial dialogue between what they represent today and the future full of uncertainties.

About author:
Natural de Lavras/Mg. Mora em Natal/RN. Trabalhou em diversas agência de publicidade em Natal, Recife e São Paulo durante um período de 12 anos, paralelo a esse trabalho, desenvolvia projetos autorais nas áreas de fotografia e pintura, participando de diversas exposições individuais e coletivas e ganhando alguns prêmios.
Há aproximadamente 12 anos atrás fundou a Case Creative Studio, um estúdio de fotografia voltada para fotografia autoral (arte) e fotografia comercial (moda, arquitetura, retrato, gastronomia...), em pleno funcionamento. Porém sem abandonar a pintura e o design.
Desenvolver projetos experimentais com narrativas artísticas é hoje o principal projeto da Case.
