No matter how hard they try to oppose, they will always be attracted to light.
The moths, nocturnal animals, wandering, driven to come out of the dark, because in the dark they are indistinguishable and in the light they build their identity, without which it is difficult to orientate. The presence of multiple spots of light is confusing, and it is not easy to realize that you have stumbled into the wrong one and move on.
We are the moths, bewildered and with an inexorable fear of the dark. We rush on the most easily accessible lights, without realizing that the more they are easily accessible, the closer they are, and the larger are the shadows they cast.
About author:
Born in Milan, in 1990, Roberto Chierichini trained developed his artistic vein lately, by studying photography at Bottega Immagine, with Stefano Bernardoni and Photographic Reportage with Sara Munari. The interest in the story flows into film studios and in 2017 he graduates in screenwriting at the Luchino Visconti Civic School of Milan.
He lives in Milan, where he has always been. Love and family have always kept him tied to this ever-changing city that he rediscovers every day and travels for him.
Photographer of solitude, his subjects are often lonely characters, caught in their everyday life in a desolate urban landscape that recreates even when he visits, without ever abandoning his camera, other cities.
For some time he has been wondering about his own identity, moving the lens from the others to himself.
