Landscape - NOMINEE: Gianfilippo De Rossi

Urban Landscape is a project that I have been carrying out for about 3 years. It arises from the need to find new ideas in the composition and architecture of the city of Los Angeles. In the megalopolis of over 10 million people the challenge is to find minimal colored spaces, absent from human presence. It is a constant search for the right place at the right time.
The aim is to focus on the tone, the geometry, the harmony of lines and colors.
All the photographs are named by the initials of the colors that are in the composition, to prove that colors are the most important part in this project.

Gianfilippo is an Italian freelance photographer
and Videographer based between
Rome, Italy and Los Angeles, California.
He learned photography at Santa Monica College
and by working with legendary photographer
Douglas Kirkland.
His photography and Videography work is focused on portrait, photojournalism, street photography and urban landscape. In the past he worked with the most important Italian, European and international magazines and TVs such as Vanity Fair, La Repubblica, L'officiel, Dove, Il Messaggero, RSI, RAI, Il Giornale, Rolling Stones Italia Aestetica Magazine,

His fine Art work "Urban Landscape" has been shown in art galleries and photo festivals in Italy in 2017, and in Berlin, Germany in 2019.
