This is a road trip snapped by two ultra light half frame cameras. The noise and the grain and some grimey feeling of the photos are perfect for capturing the view from the passenger seat - springtime drizzle and slush from the wheels, and gradation of grey colours in the landscape. Grey snow, grey sky and slightly nauseatic dizziness from the 10 days in car trip across Russian midland.
About author:
I like to take photos with film cameras, because they keep our memories. There was a research paper about digital cameras and how they "steal" people's memories. Because when one can see the result immediately, brains deside not to store the pictures if they are alredy kept somewhere. After that I've been using only film cameras (cheap plastic lomography ones). I'm not a professional photographer, I just want to catch my impression of something.
